About AFS:
In November 2006, the Aeromodelling Federation of Singapore was registered with the Registrar of Society as a Society and presently we have seven clubs in the Federation with the General Manger of SYFC elected as the President of the Federation.
It is through the considerable enthusiasm of these Club's members that the aeromodelling sport in Singapore has been nurtured and the sport has grown from strenght to strength.
These championships have been made possible because of the common vision of seven aeromodelling club in the promotion of this sport. It is a vision to have this sport flourishes among Singaporeans-youth and old.
The future of aeromodelling in Singapore is a very bright one. Besides being dynamic and high-tech, it is an activity which opens up a whole range of possibilities for engaging in flying and things asscoiated with aviation.
